This blog is not called “Confessions of a Chocoholic” for nothing…
Of course I really don’t have a full blown chocolate addiction. But it’s true that I also really, really, really LOVE chocolate, and that I do get these crazy cravings sometimes, and that chocolate has this special way of making me feel extra happy heehee. Anyway, lately I have been more conscious of my chocolate treats. Note that I have not given up these sweet treats (and probably never will) but instead of mindlessly going through a bag of Hershey’s kisses, I now listen to my inner food voice to figure out what I really want, and always, always try to go for the better choice: for instance, choosing good quality dark chocolate over cheapo milk chocolate (or even better, choosing dark chocolate with nuts – the proteins in the nuts are another healthy benefit), having just a couple of bites of a rich dessert (or a mini cupcake instead of a regular one), or choosing yummy but healthy chocolate treats such as Kozy Shack Soy Pudding.
When I first heard of this product, I was skeptical. I’m not a big fan of soy milk, but I’m a big fan of chocolate pudding. Well, one bite and that was it – I officially love this. (Actually, I love all Kozy Shack products). This pudding is organic, all natural, low fat, contains a good amount of protein and fiber (keeps me fuller longer) and best of all, a measly 120 calories. I sometimes indulge my chocolate cravings with this super delish pudding – and yeah, just sometimes (other times, nothing but dark chocolate M&M’s will do haha), and I am always satisfied. It is so rich and creamy and wholesome and I only have good words to say about it. I know, I sound like a commercial but really, this is too good to keep to myself! So for all those other chocoholics out there, go straight to your grocery store for a pack of Kozy Shack chocolate soy pudding!
