Quick: what’s the first thing you think about when you hear the words Irish Festival?
I’m not going to lie, but the first thing that popped in my head is a Guinness. The photo above is my Chocolate Guinness Beer Float, which I posted in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day here in Boston.
When I hear the words Irish Festival, I also think of Irish music and line dancing, shamrocks and the color green, hot Irish guys, and also… Kerrygold butter and cheese.
What? You can’t blame me for associating food with Irish culture, because I associate food with everything else anyway.
An Irish Festival, iFest, is coming to town later this month and I’m happy to give away two tickets (courtesy of the event organizers)!
iFest is a 3-day Irish party bursting with music, Irish cuisine, and entertainment, all celebrating modern Ireland. There will be lots of music and dancing, and there will also be lots of food and beverages as some of Ireland’s best chefs (Darina Allen, Kevin Dundon, Cathal Armstrong, and Mark Moriarty) will partner with some of Boston’s top talents: Barbara Lynch, Ana Sortun, Lydia Shire, Colin Lynch and Ezra Star.
I’m giving away two regular admission tickets to iFest on Sunday, Sept. 28th. There a few ways to enter the giveaway – see the prompts below. Don’t forget to click the check the button on the widget after you enter each time!
The giveaway is open to everyone, but please make sure that you can be here in Boston on Sunday, Sept. 28th to attend the event a the Seaport World Trade Center. I’ll pick the winner on Monday, Sept. 22nd.
