Dear St-Germain,
I had my first sip of you two years ago and since then we have been inseparable. I always have you stocked at home, and you’re the star in one of my very favorite cocktails ever. I order you (with champagne) at restaurants and bars and taverns and even the occasional club, and you never fail to please me with your sweet, captivating flavor.
Thank you for not being jealous of tequila and vodka and wine. And thank you for being so charming that most of my girl friends have fallen in love with you too.
Last week, some of your (and my) favorite ladies got together for a little patio party in your honor.
That’s Megan, Meghan, Elizabeth, Emily (our gracious host) and Daisy – this was while we were waiting for the beautiful Amy. We all agreed that each of us will create a cocktail, and also bring some canapes to share.
And because we think you go so well with different kinds of foods, we had an abundance of nibbles that night:
Did we think you went well with all these things (as well as a few other undocumented foods)? Yes, you certainly did.
As for the cocktails – well, we knew that once we put you in a drink that it would be sublime – so we all came up with some St-Germain libations:
And there were a few more that my camera didn’t get to capture: Amy’s St. Honore 75 cocktails, Meghan’s pitcher of lemony basil concoction, and Daisy’s white wine-gin-and St.Germain mix.
We had the most fun, summer evening together! We were so happy to enjoy a night filled with laughter, food, and you. I am sure that we’ll be with you again soon.
Oh and St-Germain, I don’t care if the dash in your name makes for bad SEO. I also don’t care that you’re not really a saint. (But really, who is?)
Love,
Bianca

I cannot decide if the cookie dough truffles or the blueberry goat cheese looks tastier. I would have to eat both. Looks like fun!
Such a fun evening, so good to see you!
Oooh I love St. Germain too! The first time I had it was in a St. Germain cocktail — soooo good! I like the sound of the cocktail you had on your birthday too!

Hi Paige, yup the white sangria was definitely yummy! It was just St-Germain and white wine, topped with fresh berries.
I love St. Germain too… we just had a recipe contest and one of the top recipes was a cocktail with tequila & St. Germain that was SO good. All of this food looks amazing too!
Squeee! I would like my entire weekend to involve nothing but truffle cheese on parmesan crisps, amazing blueberry goats cheese canapes, and friends.
What a fun evening! Not gonna lie, this post made my mouth water.
